Rachel Lauren Pearl pursues many creative fields including theater production, film photography, and writing. She received a full-tuition scholarship for acting and earned her BA in Film, Television and Theatre Production in 2005.
to pursue her MFA in Film and Television Producing at Chapman University.
A stroke of luck landed her an internship at Ben Stiller’s production company Red Hour, where she read scripts and crafted detailed one-page summaries.
She immediately moved to Los Angeles
In 2008, Pearl received third place in the Maryland Screenwriters Competition for her adapted screenplay, Love on the Rocks. In between writing and production work, Pearl taught dance, theater, and broadcasting to children and adults in South West Florida and Washington, D.C. Pearl has freelanced with NBC Universal since 2009 as an Audio Assistant for live news shows including
The Rachel Maddow Show.
In 2012, Pearl won first place in Ani Difranco's "Mariachi" Video Contest. From 2009 - 2016, Rachel worked tirelessly for the non-profit Joy of Motion Dance Center. From Production to Marketing + Media, Rachel produced hundreds of shows, events, and videos in support of the mission that dance is for everyone.
Rachel is a certified Jiivana Yoga instructor through Spiritual Essence Yoga
Rachel has worked as a Marketing Consultant, including rebranding, social media, design, and campaign management for various arts and non-profit organizations throughout the region.

She left LA in 2006. She lived in Prague and northern France to study, write, and take photos. In 2007, she lived in South Africa and worked for writer and documentary filmmaker Deon Maas. A birthday party led to the meeting of a trendy magazine editor. They featured Rachel's writing and travel photography the very next month.
